Founder

I’m Alejandro, the founder of Compoundex. Student at IE University in Madrid. This platform was created with one objective. Help transform a generation of young individuals into real investors.

The problem is that most people are never taught how to invest. They finish their studies, begin earning an income, and spend it as quickly as it arrives. Their money never has the opportunity to compound. For young people especially, time is their greatest financial asset. However, very few learn how to use it, and by the time they do it is already too late.

Part of the problem is that investing and speculation are often confused. An investment is the ownership of a quality business acquired with a long-term mindset, discipline, and patience. Speculation is the pursuit of short-term price movements without a clear understanding of underlying value. The difference looks small. It can decide your entire financial future.

Compoundex began as my own private investment framework. It was the system I used to value companies, allocate capital, manage risk, and make rational investment decisions. Today, that same framework is available through Compoundex Equity Research, where you can access every company in my portfolio, including the investment thesis, valuation, portfolio weighting, risk controls, and quarterly updates behind every position.

The difference between financial freedom and financial dependence often comes down to a single decision. Whether your money starts working for you, or you continue working for it.

Advanced Micro DevicesNASDAQ: AMD
Margin of safety closed

Trimmed. The price has climbed to meet estimated value, so the margin of safety has closed. The business is unchanged; only the price moved. A full price is no margin of safety, so around 10% of the position was sold. As one of the first and largest holdings, that frees considerable cash to reallocate across the portfolio.

SalesforceNYSE: CRM
44.5% margin of safety

Bought at a 44.5% margin of safety, one of the widest the model has found. The market reads AI as a threat to enterprise software. The analysis reads it as a moat that widens. The gap between the two is the opportunity.

Celsius HoldingsNASDAQ: CELH
31.6% margin of safety

Bought at a 31.6% margin of safety. The growth is durable: strong brands in Alani and Rockstar, and a North American margin with room to widen. The price sits below the value, and the business earns a larger position.

American ExpressNYSE: AXP
30% margin of safety

Bought at a 30% margin of safety. The business is rare: a closed-loop network, an affluent and durable cardholder base, and pricing power that holds through cycles. Quality at a discount is the rarest case, so the position is built with patience.

NikeNYSE: NKE
29.9% margin of safety

Bought at a 29.9% margin of safety. The turnaround is early, but the brand has outlasted every prior cycle. The position is built in steps, not at once, so the cost improves while the market stays fearful.

The Investor Curriculum

The principles of finance and investing are first developed individually before being applied to real companies within the Compoundex portfolio. Once mastered, every principle comes together through comprehensive Equity Research, where every company analysis demonstrates how the complete investment methodology is applied in practice.

We Are Just Getting Started

1

The Problem

Most people spend years learning how to earn more money, yet very few are ever taught how to invest it properly. As a result, many students spend their earliest years in the financial markets without the knowledge or discipline required to build long-term wealth. Instead of allowing their capital to compound from an early age, they often spend or invest without understanding the principles that drive successful long-term investing. Few realise that the earlier they begin, the more powerful compounding becomes in helping them achieve financial independence.

The Solution

Compoundex transforms students and young professionals into disciplined investors through one structured learning system. We combine the timeless investment principles of Graham, Buffett and Munger with modern equity research, valuation and portfolio management, applying every concept to real businesses through complete investment analyses and an actively managed portfolio. Our mission is to make this standard of investment education accessible to the next generation of investors, and every new member helps us move one step closer to achieving it.

Compoundex global vision mapFuture memberFuture memberFuture memberFuture memberA professional and clean platform, and it feels quite tailored for students overall, at least from what I saw on the reservation page.Ignacio G.Madrid, SpainThe DCF walkthrough was very solid. I’m currently studying a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance, and I believe I have never seen such a clear and well-structured explanation of a real company’s DCF in actual practice. However, it would be a good idea to provide reverse DCF models as well, since they are nearly just as important as DCFs when valuing companies.Esteban E.Murcia, SpainThis platform has serious potential. I’m really looking forward to starting the free trial and learning all the concepts and applications. Have you thought about promoting it on channels like LinkedIn or other platforms? I really think it could reach a lot of students.Leo S.Bern, Switzerland
